Hot and Fresh Stress Management Tips to Combat Burnout

Stress, repetitiveness, and mental issues are part of most adults life. A report from Indeed.com shows that 52% of workers are experiencing burnout. While the reason why could be something out of your control. You might be surprised the difference a few adjustments in your daily routine can make. If you are experiencing burnout, you might already be considering quitting your job. This could lead to even more stress and complications. Staying in control of your mood will make a positive impact in anything you will put your energy into, Buckle up and get ready to get a bit out of the comfort zone.
Get control of your mornings. If you live in a constant state of stress, chances are you don't enjoy mornings and that feeling of trading your life for compensation. In truth, if you snooze every morning, rush to get to work and barely make it there on time, your routine is part of the problem. I won't tell you to incorporate a complicated 5:00am routine to your life.... However, small morning adjustments will make your day better and you will start the day with a sense of ownership of your most valuable asset, time. Research shows that this is true for most adults. Pick at least 2 of this morning rituals below or do all of them! They take minimal time and effort.
Mirror ritual - start your day by cheering yourself up like you would cheer up a loved one. This actually works! Try the "high-five" method, or smile and tell yourself how much you love "X" part of your body, or give yourself any other compliment you would prefer in front of the mirror. Will it be?
Start a Mini Journaling - Journaling can seem like homework more than anything if you are not used to it. However, the benefits of journaling can range from self learning, to manifesting and much more. Start by simply listing three things you are thankful for that day. The next day you can list three accomplishments you are proud of. Journal about simply anything even things that you want to change in your life. Keep it short but honest.
Exercise for 15 minutes - Starting the day by getting your blood flow going will help you manage your stress hormones and give you so many benefits. It may even inspire you to discover a new passion for working out. Don't over complicate this and make this as a realistic goal as possible. Think easy home workouts like discovering a yogi on YouTube or maybe start a jump roping routine.
2. Follow these rules at work whenever possible to be proactive instead of reactive. Boundaries are important and so is managing expectations. From your boss to your peers, establishing a healthy work environment is crucial. These tips are meant to help you manage stressful situation but also prevent them.
Set boundaries with everyone. Prioritize a healthy relationship over "fitting in". When we choose to gossip with others or be friends with the boss, often time we create drama and unnecessary tension. Creating a culture of friends and bonding with co-workers feels good but be careful to form bonds over gossip. Most of the time, those bonds are not built on true friendship.
Get organized! Organization will no doubt bring a sense of control and can help avoid the stress of missing out deadlines and much more. Don't be quick on disregarding this tip! Invest in this and you will quickly see the improve on your work, stress management and you just might stand out in front of other colleges who might be lacking on this department.
Manage your energy. There are many quick little pick me ups we can do to raise our vibrational energy all by our selves. Try different techniques to see which one you like the most. A quick breathing exercise, a short walk during your lunch break, or a quick call to one of your loved ones to catch up and make future plans. Do more of what makes you happy and gets your mind off work on your breaks.

3. After work is the best time to invest on yourself. If you have a job that you are not passionate about, spend time learning about you and what will make you happier. Do more of those things that you can spend hours doing and time feels like flying. I am not talking about napping! Is there any skill that you have or would like to have but you haven't explore enough? Anything is possible with all the information we have around as. Spend a little time each day discovering what truly moves you and from there, start living your best life!
Find a new hobby, yes you have time! Have you looked at your watch time on your phone? Can you tell me how many shows you have watched in the past three months? We all have some time for a hobby and we also have the energy! There is a cycle of lies we tell ourselves to procrastinate even things that will bring us pleasure. Having a hobby is an excellent way to create more positivity and energy in your life,
Learn something new in 15 minutes. Learning might feel like the most counterproductive way to combat stress however, we can't deny the the value and sense of accomplishment that we get from it. There is no limit to what you can chose here but my suggestions is to make it simple. Maybe download an app to practice a language you have been meaning to learn, watch a video on investing, read a chapter in a non fiction book. May I suggest to document on a journal what you have learned each day? This will actually help train your brain to retain this information and you will be amazed at the things you will look back at the end of the week.
Treat yourself! Give yourself something to look forward to do. Treat yourself to home baked cookies, buy a new delicious candle, have a virtual call with your besties. Think outside the box for this one and go as big or small as you need to. Whatever you do, do something that makes you smile effortlessly.
